Trump Faces Crucial Test: Pardons for January 6 Defendants Under Scrutiny

In a recent commentary, political analyst Paul Craig Roberts emphasized that President Donald Trump’s immediate and unconditional pardon of all January 6 participants is crucial to maintaining the support of his MAGA base.

Roberts argues that any delay could allow establishment pressures to hinder the pardon process, potentially leading to a loss of confidence among his supporters.

To facilitate the reintegration of pardoned individuals, Gary Heavin is collaborating with American Patriot Relief, a 501(c)(4) foundation, to organize private jet transportation from prisons to their homes.

Volunteers are set to assist outside 75 prisons across 35 states, providing housing and support for those who have lost their homes due to imprisonment.

Heavin detailed these efforts during an appearance on Ron Paul’s program. Roberts further contends that, beyond pardons, the Department of Justice, FBI, and White House officials responsible for the prosecutions should face legal consequences for allegedly weaponizing the law for political purposes.

He asserts that holding these officials accountable is essential to uphold democracy and the rule of law.
